The fantasy series focuses on a promising young wizard who teaches magic to a noble’s daughter
Kodoani.com – Kadokawa announced at the online event “Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023” on Saturday that the light novel series by author Riku Nanano and illustrated by Cura, “Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter” (Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi), will be adapted into an anime.

The story revolves around Allen, a young wizard with potential, after failing his final exam to get his dream job at the royal family. The guy wanted to retreat to a simple life in the countryside, but didn’t have enough money to buy a train ticket. Allen searches for a job and accidentally becomes a private tutor to Tina, the daughter of Duke Howard, a powerful aristocrat. Although Tina has an excellent academic record, she cannot use magic. This secret causes Allen to use his special ability to use magic to help Tina overcome her weakness in magic.
Riku Nanano began posting the story on the Kakuyomu website in October 2017. Kadokawa later published the novel volumes, and a manga adaptation was launched in April 26. The story shows great promise. It’s interesting and will definitely please fans of this genre when adapted into an anime.
