Kodoani.com – RGG Studio and SEGA have revealed new information about the adventure RPG “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth” (Ryū ga Gotoku 8) during the RGG Direct stream.
The game will have a release date of January 26. The game’s story will revolve around Kasuga Ichiban’s journey to Honolulu to find his mother, marking the first international setting in the series. The story also includes a situation where Kazuma Kiryu, a legendary character in the Yakuza game series, faces cancer.
The game will introduce a new combat system, new jobs, and new and returning mini-games. This promises to bring a new experience to players.
“Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth” is the sequel to “Yakuza: Like a Dragon” and was announced in September 2022. The game marks the return of Kazuma Kiryu, a main character who has appeared in six games main series of the first Yakuza game and in the prequel game “Yakuza 0.”
Yakuza: Like A Dragon was initially released for PS4 in Japan in January 2020 and later for many other systems and platforms. The game received positive reviews from both fans and critics for its new combat system and touching story.
The “reconstructed” version of “Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin!” will also launch on February 21 on many other consoles and platforms.
