Shunsuke Daito, Fumika Baba, Yosuke Sugino, Oji Suzuka, Win Morisaki, Yūri Ōta join summer movie cast
Kodoani.com – The official website for the live-action film adaptation of the manga by author Shin Sawada and artist Renji Asai is The Violence Action revealed six new actors for the film on March 2.
The new cast includes (from left to right in the image above):
Shunsuke Daito as Ayabe Fumika Baba as Shopkeeper Yosuke Sugino as Terano Oji Suzuka as Watanabe Won Morisaki as Kaneko Yūri Ōta as Daria
Kanna Hashimoto (left in the image below) plays the main character Kei Kikuno.
Tōichirō Rutō is directing the film, and co-wrote the script with Itaru Era. The film will premiere this summer.
The manga’s story revolves around Kei Kikuno, an assassin who appears to be an easygoing and cute girl from the neighborhood but is actually a top hitgirl. Kei deftly tackles the job with his gun expertise and physical prowess.
The series launched in Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits online magazine in April 2016. The series went on hiatus from March 2018 to June 2019 due to the author’s ill health. The series ranked in the top 20 manga for male readers in the 2018 edition of Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi!
