Moeka Koizumi, Shū Uchida, Akina Hōmoto officially join the cast of the second season
The “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Next Tokimeki Unveiling” live stream event announced on Sunday that the second anime season “Love Live! The first season premiered on channel Tokyo MX as well as on live streaming services on Bandai Channel, Line Live, and YouTube on October 3, 2020 at 10:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT). Hajime Yatate, the common pseudonym for the employees of Sunrise, is again credited for the original work. Sakurako Kimino is also credited again for the original concept, as in Love Live! anime. Tomoyuki Kawamura ( Good Luck Girl ! , Mitsuboshi Colors , Kamigami no Asobi – Ludere deorum ) directed the first season at Sunrise . Jin Tanaka ( Laid-Back Camp , Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode , Cinderella Nine ) is in charge of the series scripts. Takumi Yokota ( Pupipō ! ,Mitsuboshi Colors ) designed the characters.
In 2010, anime studios Sunrise , Lantis , and ASCII Media Works ‘ Dengeki G Magazine launched Love live! is the self-described “ultimate idol project” that allows fans to vote on the future of fictional idols within the school idol group μ’s. A series of music CDs and animated music videos followed. The first episode of the Love Live anime premiered in January 2013, and the second episode premiered in April 2014. The Love Live! School Idol premiered in Japan in June 2015.
The Love Live! Sunshine!! The project was later announced in February 2015. The three key phrases of the project are “Fan Engagement”, “Inspired by μ’s”, and “Coastal City View.” Fans chose the group name Aqours by popular vote. The first episode of Love Live! Sunshine!! premiered in July 2016. The second season ran from October to December 2017. The Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow Movie premiered in Japan in January 2019.
The staff of the franchise recently announced a new television anime series, titled Love Live! Super star!! , with a casting call to open an audition for one of the lead actors. Love Live! Super star !! will premiere in July.
