Characters can acquire new skills when changing costumes in Infinity Nikki.
Former Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga is directing the production of Infinity Nikki – the open-world adaptation of Fashion Star. The world of Infinity Nikki has similarities and attractions like Disney’s animated movies. The official website of Infinity Nikki describes the game as an open-world fashion adventure. And that’s exactly what is shown in the new trailer. Infinity Nikki also has a core gameplay loop that combines open-world exploration with puzzle solving similar to Breath of the Wild or Genshin Impact. The trailer also shows that Nikki can be resized at will and will have life features like fishing. Prior to joining Studio Papergames, director Tominaga was BotW’s designer and director of development.
In Infinity Nikki, the main character can change clothes immediately at any time. The trailer showcases some pretty dresses, showcasing the high standards of games that are primarily aimed at women. The costumes are not too sexy but bring a light and pleasant feeling compared to the costumes of many other games. According to the interview with IGN China, different outfits will allow Nikki to use different special abilities. Infinity Nikki currently doesn’t have a specific release date, but the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
