MAO, Tetsu Inada, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, more join the cast
Kodoani.com – A streaming event for anime adaptations of manga Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer Satoshi Mizukami’s (Hoshi no Samidare) revealed 24 more actors for the anime on Saturday. The event also revealed a new visual and the show’s July premiere on MBS and TBS’s “Animeism” programming block and on BS11.

Nobuaki Nakanishi (Koihime Musō, Mahōjin Guru Guru, Kasimasi – Girl Meets Girl) is directing the anime. Original author Mizukami is credited as the series’ creator, along with Yūichirō Momose (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, Infinite Dendrogram, So I’m a Spider, So What?).
Mizukami’s comment on the anime’s announcement indicated that the anime will include the entire manga “until the end.”
Mizukami (Spirit Circle, Planet With) launched the manga in Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine in April 2005, and ended the manga in 2010.
Asamiya Yuuhi was an ordinary college student…until one day a lizard appeared and asked him to help save the world. Next thing he knows, he’s been given a ring and special powers, plus an enemy is stalking him. However, he was joined by the Girl Next door, Samidare, who was planning… weird things?!
