Kodoani.com – The manga’s Twitter account Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sōsō no Frieren) by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe announced on Friday that the manga has reached 7 million copies in circulation since the anime’s debut. Up to now, the total number of copies in print has exceeded 17 million.
The series previously went on a hiatus and returned in March 2024.

The anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is good Frieren’s Funeral Mage premiered with a two-hour special on September 29. It was the first television anime to be shown on NTV’s “Kinyō Roadshow”, a Friday night program usually devoted to feature films.
The anime then began airing the following episodes on October 6 at 11pm JST in NTV’s new anime time slot, “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT.” The anime will run for two consecutive seasons (one-quarter year) until March 2024.
Yamada and Abe launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in April 2020. The manga has received many awards, including the New Creator Award at the annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards 25th 2021 and 14th Manga Taisho Awards 2021. Additionally, the manga was nominated for the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 45th Kodansha Annual Manga Awards 2021 and the 46th awards in May 2022.
