Without any delay, the manga will end in the magazine’s 16th issue on July 18.
Hoshino launched the manga in Young Champion magazine in June 2020. Akita Shoten published the manga’s sixth volume on April 20.
The manga focuses on Shibusawa Eiichi, an industrialist dubbed “the father of Japanese capitalism”, in his youth. Shibusawa lived through the Bakumatsu and Meiji periods and is credited with guiding Japan into the modern era.
Hoshino’s main manga series inspired the television anime of Gambler Densetsu Tetsuya in 2000. His other manga series include Egawa to Nishimoto (Egawa and Nishimoto) and an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse novel. .
