According to recently spread sources, Marvel is planning and developing more than 40 future projects of the MCU.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is constantly expanding and evolving, with lots of new characters and stories. Currently, the Multiverse has opened up through movies like Loki or Spider-Man: No Way Home, setting the stage for the debut of many new faces.
According to Insider Charles Murphy, Marvel Studios currently has 21 projects in development that have yet to be announced. Added 22 announced and unreleased projects. Thus, a total of the MCU cinematic universe is having 43 new movies in the future, an extremely terrible number.
Of the 22 announced projects, it is extremely likely that we will have a movie about X-Men with the X-Men, a movie about the Fantastic Four or even a movie about Deadpool. As for other projects, there are many new names, currently, Marvel has owned almost all of their important characters in the comics and is capable of adapting those characters to the screen.
Of course, of the more than 40 future projects in the MCU’s plans, not all are new movies. Among them are many names that have never appeared in the MCU, but there will also be many rebooted movies. In addition, there will be many TV series released in order to add to the MCU plot and create a premise for future blockbusters.
