Studio Seven Arcs adapts Yūya Hirose, Akari Kitō
Kodoani.com – Shueisha announced Friday that the work of writer Takahiro and artist Yohei Takemura is Mato Seihei no Slave Battle Fantasy (Slave of the Magic Capital’s Elite Troops) will get an anime adaptation. Yūya Hirose and Akari Kitō will voice the main characters in the anime as Yūki Wakura and Kyōka Uzen. Seven Arcs (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, White Album, Trinity Seven) is producing the anime.
The fantasy battle story is set in a world where a demonic portal has unleashed monsters known as Shūki. A special peach tree can grant special powers, but only for women. The story begins when a lucky boy named Yūki Wakura meets Uzen Kyōka, a girl who has gained the power of peaches, and is the captain of Team 7 Against Demons.
Takahiro and Takemura launched the manga on the shounen Jump + website in January 2019. Shueisha will publish the ninth volume of the manga on December 3.
Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro’s ending is Akame ga KILL! in December 2017. The manga debuted in 2010 in Square Enix’s monthly Gangan Joker magazine. The prequel, Akame ga KILL! ZERO, released in 2013 and will end with the 10th volume. Takahiro and strelka launch CRUSH Hinowa stations! manga in June 2017. Yen Press is publishing all three titles in English.
Takahiro also provided the original concept for the Yuki Yuna Is a Hero anime and series composition for the Release the Spyce anime.
Takemura previously adapted a manga for Papa No Iu Koto o Kikinasai’s Tomohiro Matsu’s Tomohiro Matsu! (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!) is a light novel series.
