The official website for the Black Clover anime announced on October 6, 2022 that the franchise’s upcoming film will be titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King (Black Clover: Mahо̄ Mikado no Ken), and will be premieres worldwide on the Netflix platform and hits theaters in Japan on March 31, 2023. Netflix begins streaming the trailer with English subtitles on YouTube. The film’s official website and Twitter account have also revealed new images and cast:
Original manga creator Yūki Tabata, who is serving as the series’ main supervisor and original character designer, drew an image:
Toshihiko Seki will play Konrad Leto, a former Sorcerer King.
The staff of the television anime are participating in the production of the series. Ayataka Tanemura is directing the film, Itsuko Takeda is designing the characters, and Minako Seki is composing the music.
The film’s staff revealed an image featuring Asta in March 2021, and then revealed an image of Yuno last December.
An anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in October 2017. The show was originally listed with 51 episodes, but it continued into a new season with episode 52 in October 2018 and continued into another season. new season in October 2019. The manga went on a planned three-month hiatus at the end of April so Tabata could prepare for the manga’s “final arc”. The series continued to be released on August 1.
