Mr. Do Viet Hung – General Secretary of VIRESA commented on Vietnam Esports not only at IESF WEC 2022 but also in the long way of development.
From December 2 to 12, IESF WEC 2022 (IESF World Esports Championship 2022) officially took place in Bali, Indonesia. The tournament has many different games with the participation of many famous teams around the world.
Vietnam will participate in 4 games: CS: GO, eFootball, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile. The representatives have moved to Bali and get ready for the upcoming fight.
Below is the interview content of GosuGamers Vietnam with Mr. Do Viet Hung, General Secretary of VIRESA. He shared a lot with the Vietnamese players before the start of IESF WEC 2022.
Reporter:How do you evaluate the organization and scale of IESF WEC 2022?
Mr. Hung: This is the 14th time IESF World Esports Championship 2022 takes place. In terms of organization, we evaluate everything carefully. Since yesterday, the Vietnamese teams arrived in Bali, all of them were warmly and thoughtfully received. As for the scale of the organization, this is the biggest tournament ever. The playground has 106 countries and more than 600 athletes participating.
Through his sharing, Mr. Do Viet Hung is helping Vietnamese players have a more confident and comfortable mentality to enjoy and devote to the upcoming matches at IESF WEC 2022.
Reporter: Can you share more specifically about the slogan of the Vietnamese team at IESF WEC 2022?
Mr. Hung: This time to Bali, we bring two slogans. The first is “Vietnam Esports Inspiring The Future”, which means that the Vietnamese e-commerce market inspires the future. We want to bring the message of Esports Vietnam more and more present in the international arena.
At the same time, the participation of Esports athletes at international events will be an inspiration to continue developing the future of the country’s e-sports market. All of them are in line with the development goal in the period of 2020-2024, making Vietnam an ideal destination for Esports events.
Next, the second slogan is “Team Vietnam Inspiring Warriors”. This slogan means that the Vietnamese national team are inspirational warriors. Every Vietnamese athlete when stepping on the stage will become an inspiration for the country’s Esports community. We want this slogan to become an inspiration and encouragement for the spirit of professional competition. And all are aimed at developing the Vietnamese Esports community.
Reporter: In 2023, what is VIRESA’s orientation for Vietnam’s e-commerce market?
Mr. Hung: Esports Vietnam gradually realizes the strategy of 2020-2024 “developing a professional and sustainable e-commerce market towards international standards”. We look forward to continuing to make efforts to promote Vietnam’s Esports position in the international arena.
In the near future, the national e-commerce center will have two big events in 2023: the 32nd SEA Games and the Hangzhou Asian Games. Accordingly, our aim is to affirm professional quality, expand international exchanges and cooperation between regions.
