My Dress-up Darling episode 6 – Wakana accidentally meets Inui and this time he will make not just one outfit but two: one for Inui, the other for Marin.
By choosing to start the situation later, episode 6 My Dress-up Darling uses the length of the first half to properly end the development that prompted the end of episode 5. It was a good transition to the season. next, where we really start to see Marin baffled how much she likes Wakana. It was interesting, because ever since Wakana called her beautiful, she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
Episode 6 My Dress-up Darling also shows some interactions between Marin and Wakana’s grandfather, as well as knowing that she resembles Wakana because her mother passed away, while her father has moved for work so she lives mainly. is alone. It was sweet to see how he politely asked Marin to have dinner with them every night to make sure she was eating right after showing them the convenience store meals. So now Marin will be a permanent member of the Wakana family’s dining table.
Inui got caught in the rain
Back to the heart of episode 6 My Dress-up Darling, finally meeting Sajuna Inui, also known as Juju. She’s the cosplayer Marin mentioned earlier about who she idolizes and unfortunately for Wakana, he had an incredibly awkward first meeting with her. It all happened when his grandfather assumed that Inui was one of his niece’s friends and suggested that she come in to warm up and dry off when he saw her caught in the rain.
Take a look guys
However, Wakana and Marin had been working together for quite some time, so he immediately noticed something strange. Who the hell had entered the house forced him to feel the need to determine who it was. Unfortunately, that’s how he walked in while Inui was naked. And this incident is what gave Inui an excuse to get Wakana to make her a cosplay costume.
Although Inui is actually Wakana and Marin’s senior, her petite form allows her to cosplay as Shion in a way that Marin can’t because of her height. Of course Marin can still cosplay if she really wants to, but she doesn’t want to ruin the image of the character. So, instead, Marin will choose another character that she likes suitable for her height, such as Neon, Shion’s younger sister.
Those values as a cosplayer are something that Inui also really respects and adheres to. Interestingly, in the same way that Wakana and Marin had assumed she was a middle school student, Inui had misinterpreted whether Marin was really interested in the series and the characters she dressed up as, which which both sides apologized without understanding why.
Wakana and Marin blushed when Inui asked if they were dating
Even Inui had a second misunderstanding when she assumed that Wakana and Marin were dating. Wakana was embarrassed and quickly denied it, even making it clear that he had never dated anyone before – which of course pleased Marin. I think that’s pretty cute and shows how Marin thinks about Wakana right now.
About how Inui found out that Wakana was in charge of making Shizuku’s clothes. Since this information is not made public, she went to the event to see the outfit and found out by chance. She then pursued Wakana to her house, where she got caught in the rain and the incident happened.
It’s quite funny that Wakana misunderstands why Inui is there. He thought she was there to see the Hina dolls and enthusiastically showed her all of them, until she asked him where the outfit was. Inui doesn’t realize that Wakana doesn’t take commissions and it’s the first time he’s made an outfit to wear. That’s why she was led to blackmail him to make one for her after he accidentally entered the bathroom.
Which brings Wakana to the next project. But this time he will make not just one outfit but two: one for Inui, the other for Marin.
