One For All is an extremely powerful Quirk created when All For One gave his younger brother, Yoichi, a power reserve Quirk, thinking he was incompetent.
Unknown to him that Yoichi actually has a Quirk that allows power to be passed on, the two Quirks combine to become what is known as One For All (OFA).
Over the years, this Quirk has been possessed by many generations, however, only Izuku Midoriya, the ninth heir of this power, is able to unleash its true power.
Under Izuku, One For All was the strongest and within it lurked several other Quirks possessed by those who used this power.
Through its immense power, the likes of Deku and All Might were able to defeat even the toughest enemies.
While OFA itself is powerful enough, it also provides quite a few other Quirks that lurk within it for a long time.
This list already includes all existing Quirks in One For All, however, this list has now been updated to include their utility.
Gearshift
Gear Shift is the latest Quirk awakened by Izuku Midoriya during the events of the Final War.
As his comrades were fighting for their lives, Deku arrived on the battlefield just in time and saved them, while unleashing a whole new set of powers.
Up to this point, he has awakened all of the Quirks in One For All except one, however, with Gearshift’s awakening, Deku is now fully able to reach all of the Quirks.
This Quirk originally belonged to the second generation of One For All. When used, it allows the user to change the speed instantly.
While this doesn’t sound as impressive in theory as it does in practice, the reality that makes it truly terrifying is that it completely ignores the laws of inertia, as seen in the fight against All For One. when Deku fought him.
Initially, this Quirk could not be used on large objects, however, as the OFA strengthens every single Quirk, Gearshift is also enhanced.
That said, there is a definite time limit to using Gearshift as it takes a huge toll on the user’s body.
According to OFA’s second predecessor, Deku could only sustain it for 5 minutes and after that, his body would begin to weaken and even become life-threatening.
Gearshift’s utility: 8/10
Gearshift is an extremely powerful Super and it has allowed Deku to compete evenly with All For One’s Superpowers and even have moments where he overpowered him completely.
Given its power, combined with the other abilities One For All has to offer, Gearshift is virtually unbeatable.
However, this Quirk is almost always considered a last resort because the damage it causes to the user’s body is too great.
Once used, Deku can only fight for 5 minutes and after that, his body won’t be able to fight anymore.
With that in mind, the utility of this Quirk is not very high. However, whenever used, it most likely gets the job done, and for that reason it scores high on the add-ons list.
Blackwhip
The first Quirk that Izuku Midoriya awakened was Blackwhip and he did so during the General Training Exam.
Not knowing what that power was, Izuku struggled to control it at the time, however, after considerable training, his ability to control this power was as good as One For All.
Blackwhip was originally the Quirk of One For All’s sixth successor, Daigoro Banjo, and it now allows Izuku to create tentacles of energy from his body that can be used to grapple with anything and everything. even for long range combat.
With his strength, Deku can easily grab his enemies, bring others to safety, and even increase his own mobility, among other things.
Without a doubt, this was one of the most useful abilities he possessed right now.
Blackwhip’s utility: 7/10
Blackwhip is the first Quirk in One For All that Deku has awakened. Since this Quirk has the ability to create energy webs that can be used as ropes, it is quite useful.
In combat, it can also be combined with other Quirks and is thus one of the best Superpowers Deku possesses. As a Hero support skill, its utility is definitely high.
Float
Float formerly belonged to One For All’s seventh generation successor and All Might’s master, Nana Shimura. Like all Quirks, this Quiz was passed on to Izuku along with One For All.
During the Mystical Liberation War Arc, Deku was finally able to harness its power when Shigaraki unleashed his Decay Quirk to destroy everyone around him.
As the name suggests, Float allows Deku to float in mid-air. When combined with the power of One For All, he can move through the air at high speeds, making him feel like he’s flying.
Deku’s ability to control this power has improved significantly over time.
Float’s utility: 7/10
Nana Shimura’s Float is an amazing ability that allows Deku to soar through the air. Considering that his main enemy is Shigaraki, who can cause decomposition without direct contact, this ability is priceless.
It also allows him to fight mid-air and makes Deku a much more versatile Hero, thus highly useful.
Danger Sense
Also awakened by Deku during the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, Danger Sense is a rather useful ability.
It was formerly used by the OFA’s fourth successor, Hikage Shinomori. The power of this Quirk is quite simple, as the name suggests.
Danger Sense is considered a sixth sense, helping Deku sense any danger near him.
As long as that person has malice, Deku will easily find out. Those who do not have any ill intentions will not be caught by this Quirk, even if they are enemies.
Initially, this Quirk causes a lot of pain to Deku when used, however, this can be alleviated with more practice.
Danger Sense utility: 9/10
Danger Sense is quite possibly one of the most useful Superpowers Deku has awakened to.
Since the Mystical Liberation War Arc, it has given him the ability to sense all kinds of dangers around him just before something dangerous actually happens.
Although it initially hurt him to use, that seems to have subsided with practice and thus its usability is amazing in combat.
As a Hero, sensing danger allows Deku to prepare for any eventuality and save as many lives as possible. This Quiz is really useful.
Smokescreen
Formerly belonging to the OFA’s sixth generation, Smokescreen is a rather useful Quirk now owned by Izuku Midoriya.
He awakened this power after the events of the Mystical Liberation War Arc ended and those close to him finally learned the truth about his power.
Smokescreen is a very useful Superpower because it allows Izuku to create a very thick cloud of smoke from his body. This smoke can cause a lot of trouble for enemies as they are completely unable to locate Deku.
At the same time, Deku was then able to catch them by surprise due to the obscured vision. The key to this Quirk is balance and if used excessively it can cause similar problems for Deku as well as for his enemies.
Smokescreen’s utility: 5/10
The Smokescreen was recently awakened by Izuku Midoriya and while it is certainly quite useful, especially in combat, its usefulness is not as high as the other abilities that OFA has to offer.
In combat, it could certainly give him an advantage, however, given the power that OFA held, its demand wasn’t too high.
Fa Jin
Fa Jin was formerly used by the OFA’s third generation successor and after his death, this Quirk resides in One For All, awakening only when Izuku receives its power.
Out of all the extras that OFA has, Fa Jin remains one of the most impressive.
By repeating the motion at regular intervals, Fa Jin gives the ability to accumulate kinetic energy that can be stored in the body for later use. Once released, it will significantly increase both in strength and speed.
The stored energy can be used by Izuku at his will. What makes this Quirk so terrifying is that when combined with 45% of the OFA and the Blackwhip throw, the energy generated is equivalent to 100% of the OFA.
Fa Jin’s utility: 8/10
Fa Jin is a tremendous Superpower that Izuku possesses. This Quirk gives him extra strength and in battle, it always comes in handy.
When combined with the likes of Blackwhip and OFA, it can mimic the same powers that All Might used.
Therefore, Fa Jin is very useful and as the OFA gets stronger, this Quirk’s power quickly increases as well. Against someone like Shigaraki, it would definitely come in handy.
