The My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 anime stars Inori Minase as Akane and Kouki Uchiyama as Yamada.
The official website for My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999, the television anime adaptation of Mashiro’s manga of the same name, revealed on December 24 that the anime will premiere in April 2023. The site also announced a Christmas image for the Anime.
The anime stars Inori Minase as Akane and Kouki Uchiyama as Yamada.
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Card Captor Sakura, My Love Story!!) is directing the anime at Madhouse. Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is in charge of the script.
Mangamo Publishing House is publishing the manga in English and describes the story:
“Recently dumped, Akane was about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend when she met Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life is somewhat like an actor. The only problem is that he only cares about the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada continue to focus on the game?”
Mashiro launched the manga in 2018. Kadokawa published the manga’s sixth compiled book volume on October 21.
Loving Yamada at Lv999! won the Grand Prize in the 6th Annual Tsutaya Manga Awards in 2022. The series now has over 1 million copies in circulation in Japan.
