Kinoshita Akane, our heroine, starts playing FOS, AKA Forest Of Saviors, to impress her boyfriend, Furukawa Takuma. Takuma is an avid gamer and his most recent obsession is FOS.
She really wanted to make their relationship good, and so she spent a lot of time learning about the game and gradually got pretty good at it. However, Takuma is the cliché boyfriend who broke up with Akane because he met someone else in the game.
A heartbroken Akane tried to drown out her sadness by playing FOS, and that’s where she met Yamada Akiko. Yamada is a gamer just like her ex-boyfriend. However, he does it professionally. And as a bonus, Takuma is a huge fan of Yamada’s streams.
This is the main reason why Akane asked Yamada to act like her boyfriend in front of Takuma. She was satisfied with the result because Takuma was heartbroken when he saw his idol with his ex-girlfriend.
What started as a way to get back with her ex gradually turns into a full-blown romance. They love each other very much and tend to spend a lot of their free time together. Currently, Yadama is preparing to participate in a gaming tournament while Akane will return to her hometown to attend her high school reunion.

Takaya’s family life is always busy. His father is an alcoholic who beats Takaya every time he gets drunk. They blamed Takaya for not taking the initiative first, but they didn’t know that he was also standing outside the door.
Akane was startled to see him as she hoped that he hadn’t overheard any of their conversations. They entered the room together, and Akane said goodbye to her when her older sister came to pick her up. Takaya also left and left shortly after.

That’s when Akane noticed that the hooded figure from before was standing right behind her. The scene then switches to Yamada, who is seen standing by the side of the road waiting for her response.
