Kodoani.com – Netflix announced during a Geeked Week live stream on Monday a behind-the-scenes video for the live-action Hollywood series adaptation of the manga. One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. The video reveals concept art of various ships in the series, including Going Merry, Baratie, and Miss Love Duck. It also features an introduction by Inaki Godoy (Luffy) and hosts Steven Maeda and Matt Owens. Netflix also revealed six new members.

Netflix will exclusively stream the live action series. The first season will have ten episodes. Oda will act as executive producer.
Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between producer Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios, is producing the live-action series. Matt Owens is the show’s screenwriter. Steven Maeda and Becky Clements are executive producers.
Adelstein announced in a video message shown at Jump Festa in 2017 that the Hollywood live-action television series adaptation of the manga will begin with the East Blue arc and will “expand from there.” Adelstein also stated that the series promises to create “a real One Piece” after he discussed the project with Oda personally.
One Piece manga revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, an aspiring pirate who, like many other pirates, dreams of obtaining the legendary treasure “One Piece” left by a legendary pirate. Luffy assembles a crew and a ship and explores the Grand Line in search of treasure, while confronting rival pirates and government marines along the way.
Oda began publishing the One Piece manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 19, 1997. The 57th volume had an initial print run of 3 million copies, a national industry record, in March 2010. The 67th volume had a first print run of 4.05 million copies, a new national industry record, in August 2012. The manga won the 41st Japan Manga Artist Award in 2012, and set a Guinness World Record in 2015 for “most prints published for the same manga series by one author.”
The manga’s 100th compiled book volume launches in Japan in September 2021, and the 101st volume ships in December 2021. Shueisha will publish the 102nd volume on April 4. Oda published the manga’s tenth chapter. 1,000 in January 2021.
An ongoing anime adaptation premiered in 1999. The 1,000th episode of the anime premiered in November 2021. The franchise also has an upcoming anime film titled One Piece Film Red that will premiere on June 6. August.
“We are one!” . This mini-series premieres August 2021, with new episodes streaming daily. The last episode aired in September 2021.
