Netmarble has announced a new collaboration for The King of Fighters Allstar game featuring characters from Capcom’s Street Fighter V: Champion Edition.
The publisher opened a demo website, then revealed 6 fighters from Street Fighter V joining its KoF game on mobile devices. You’ll meet up with Ryu, Chun-Li, and the Nostalgia variant for Chun-Li in the Street Fighter Alpha skin. The event is scheduled to kick off in-game on March 15 for both iOS and Android.
This partnership is not the first. SNK and Capcom have collaborated on many notable products in the past. As well as Netmarble promoting cooperation with the Japanese game company many times before.
The announcement comes at a remarkable time for both franchises, coming up on the launch day of The King of Fighters XV – SNK’s latest core take on the KoF franchise. For Capcom, the Capcom Cup professional SFV tournament kicks off today and runs until February 20, ending around the same time Capcom’s mysterious countdown timer hits.
The King Of Fighters Allstar is currently available to download on Google Play and App Store in over 175 countries and supports languages English, Taiwanese, Indonesian, Thai, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Russia and Germany.
