Regarding the plot, after the disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, the Japanese team had many difficulties in regrouping. A question arises, what do they still lack to win the championship? The Japanese team had all the qualities, but in the end, they realized they lacked the main striker who could lead them to victory. Therefore, the Japan Football Federation launched “Project Blue Lock” gathering 300 of the best young strikers from all over Japan. The purpose of this project is to create one and only one striker who is always “thirst” for goals and “desperate” to win more than anyone, who can make a decisive turning point to turn the game around… Which “I” stands out enough to claim that unique position? And will 300 young men be able to overcome all the challenges that stand in their way?
