Kodoani.com – South Korean game development company Nexon announced on Thursday that it is developing Project DW, a new open-world action RPG based on the game franchise. Dungeon & Fighter. Nexon subsidiary Nexon Games is developing the game for cross-platform distribution on consoles, PCs and mobile devices, although the announcement does not mention specific platforms or release dates.
Neople, a subsidiary of Korean game development company Nexon, was the developer of Dungeon & Fighter in South Korea in 2005. The game was released in Japan as Arad Senki in 2006. The game was released in Japan. North America under the title Dungeon Fighter Online in 2010 and ended service in 2013. A global version of the game with English text was later released in 2015.
GONZO and GK Entertainment produced the television anime series Slap Up Party: Arad Senki based on the game in 2009. The series aired for 26 episodes.
LIDEN FILMS produced a new anime in the franchise called Arad: Gyakuten no Gear (Arad: Reversal of Fate). The film premiered in Japan on July 3, 2020, although the film made its debut in China in April 2020. The animated film, advertised as “Part 2” , was originally slated to launch in 2019.
Japanese fighting game developer Eighting developed the fighting game DNF Duel with support from Arc System Works. The game launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam .in June 2022.
