As we all know, on January 7, Riot introduced the 158th champion of League of Legends named Zeri. Zeri’s Q mechanism is quite special when the skill is activated as a normal attack
However, recently, League of Legends gamers have discovered that Amumu will be a hard counter for Zeri, even if this champion has not been officially released. In theory, Zeri’s Q skill when activated will fire 7 rounds of bullets that deal physical damage and interact with 110% of AD. The special thing here is that these 7 rounds will be counted as 7 separate attacks and it is launched in an extremely short time.

Going back to Amumu, this character’s passive E will reduce damage to all types of attacks and moves that deal physical damage. When Zeri hits Amumu with Q – Chain Gun, those 7 rounds of damage are all reduced by her passive E – Fury. Remember that this damage reduction will increase when Amumu has equipment that provides armor and magic resistance.
Zeri’s Q – Tasting Gun doesn’t deal any damage when attacking Amumu because all damage is blocked by E – Fury
So when Amumu has a certain amount of equipment, all damage done by Zeri’s Q – Tasting Gun will become nullified for this character. Even in Vandiril’s test below, Zeri’s Q didn’t even deal damage to Amumu to interrupt this character’s return action.
Zeri’s Q – Consecutive Tasers can’t even stop Amumu’s recall because it doesn’t deal any damage to this champion.
Indeed, this interaction is an extremely interesting thing when no one thought that a character who debuted as long as Amumu could “counter tight” the new champion Zeri. Not to mention that Amumu’s strong control ability also reduces Zeri’s strength called mobility and makes her much easier to defeat.
