{kodoani.com} Faraway Paladin director Yuu Nobuta will take charge at EMT Squared
Kadokawa has revealed Kuontamu and Hana Amano’s fantasy light novel series as ‘Yūsha, Yamemasu: Tsugi no Shokuba wa Maōjō (I Quit Being the Hero: I ‘m Already Got a Job Lined Up at the Demon Lord Castle) is adapting a television anime that will premiere in April 2022.
The voice cast includes:
Kensho Ono as Leo Demonheart Kaede Hondo as Echidna Shizuka Itou as Steiner Hitomi Ohwada as Lily Yumi Uchiyama as Mernes Tetsu Inada as Edvard
Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Maesetsu! Opening Act, The Faraway Paladin) is appointed as the main director, while Hisashi Ishii (Rainy Cocoa side G, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) is directing the series at EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi ( Zombie Land Saga, The Gymnastics Samurai) is in charge of the series scripts. Yuki Nakano (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) is designing the characters.
The story revolves around Leo, a hero who once saved the world from the invasion of the evil army. However, he was later feared and ostracized by everyone and ended up without a job. Feeling that his skill would be appreciated more in other places, he joined the army of the demon lord with which he had fought. Now in a new working environment, Leo strives to use his skills and revive an army of demons that are on the verge of collapse.
Kuontamu began serializing the manga on the Kakuyomu manga website in January 2017. Kadokawa is publishing the manga in print with illustrations by Amano and released the first volume in December 2017. The fourth volume was published. in August 2020.
Nori Kazato launched a manga of the novel on the Young Ace Up website in May 2018. Kadokawa announced the manga’s fifth volume on May 10.
