INTERNATIONAL_ Coffee Stain is the unit behind hit games like Valheim, Satisfactory and Deep Rock Galactic.
The company has announced the launch of Coffee Stain Malmö, a new studio specializing in the production of mobile games. The announcement shows the Swedish game company’s efforts after a decade of tremendous growth, building an impressive brand of indie games.
Coffee Stain established a division to make mobile games.
The studio will be run by Daniel Persson, a veteran game industry expert with 20 years of experience, 10 years of making mobile games. Daniel has held senior roles at King, Goodgame Studios and SYBO Games. This new division of Coffee Stain will develop and distribute beloved Coffee Stain IPs for iOS and Android, including Goat Simulator and Huntdown.
Coffee Stain will restructure its senior team to accommodate the new division, which will build on the success of the mobile games Goat Simulator and Huntdown.
The studio will combine development for the launch of mobile games focusing on Goat Simulator and Huntdown on iOS and Android, with more titles to be announced soon.
Coffee Stain is a game development studio with offices in Skövde, Stockholm and Gothenburg. Founded in 2010, Coffee Stain Studios is responsible for the Goat Simulator game, the Sanctum game and the factory builder Satisfactory, which is currently in Early Access.
Simulation Goat is their famous game.
Coffee Stain Publishing is currently looking for talented developers and provides tools for making simple, indie games. In the future, they will continue to build and develop their studios, have new initiatives to test exciting games, give players more experiences.
Mobile studio director Daniel will be working alongside Albert Säfström, who has been appointed VP of Game Publishing, to launch the new mobile game. Both Albert and Daniel will report to Anton Westbergh as CEO of Coffee Stain.
With the launch of this new mobile studio in Malmo, Coffee Stain has also begun its recruitment process.
