Kodoani.com – Manga My One-Hit Kill Sister (Isekai One Turn Kill Nee-san) based on the novel by Kenji Taguchi was completed on July 28 with the publication of volume 12, the final volume of the manga.
The story revolves around Asahi Ikusaba, a high school student who gets lost and falls into another parallel world. Even though the guy is knowledgeable about video games and fantasy worlds, he is weak and doesn’t have any “cheat abilities”. In this new world, he meets his older sister Maya, who has the strongest cheating ability, and the two have a complicated relationship with each other.
Kenji Taguchi launched the manga on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website and Sunday GX magazine in March 2020.
The story was also adapted into an anime television series, which premiered on April 8.
Previously, Kenji Taguchi was famous for his manga Ane Log, published in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since 2012 and ending in April 2016. Shogakukan published a total of 12 volumes of this manga. Ane Log was also adapted into a drama CD and fan disc with six Flash anime shorts, along with three OVA episodes accompanying the manga’s fifth, sixth, and seventh compilation books.
