Even the admiral of the navy has to abstain from Shanks, but these 3 characters take too much risk!
Shanks is one of the Yonko who dominates the second half of the Grand Line – “New World”. Out of the 4 Yonko of the old era, only Red Hair remains in this position so far. Whitebeard is dead, and Big Mom and Kaido were both defeated by the Supernovas.
Although he doesn’t appear much in One Piece, everyone knows that Shanks is very strong. At Marineford, from Blackbeard, the Marines, to characters like Mihawk, the decision to withdraw for various reasons as soon as Shanks appeared was understandable enough. Or recently, even Admiral Bo Luc was afraid of his strength.
However, there are still some characters in One Piece who dare to “be immoral” with this Yonko.
1. Higuma
One Piece readers will surely remember Higuma’s “foolishness” in chapter 1. He dared to threaten Shanks, then boasted of his 8 million Belly bounty to the Redhead.
Of course, Shanks ignored Higuma’s smug words and acted as if there was nothing to continue having fun with his teammates.
It was not until, they touched Luffy, Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates that they took action. One of Higuma’s henchmen was shot by Lucky Roux, while the rest were defeated by Benn Beckman. Higuma then kidnapped Luffy and fled to the sea. Unfortunately he encountered a sea monster.
2. Eustass Kid
Eustass Kid has been looking for trouble with Shanks .’s group
Kid once explained the reason for losing an arm as follows: “As for targeting Big Mom’s head, all I do is hurt one of her Sweet Commanders and take back what belongs to me. As for the cause of the loss of an arm, it was before that, during a battle with the Red Hair Band.”
So we know the reason why Kid lost an arm, it turned out to be because he dared to “collision” with Luffy’s uncle. Details of this battle are still unknown.
But it is interesting that in chapter 1054, Limejuice of the Red Hair group seems to still be annoyed with Kid. He says the Kid should get a “reward” for daring to find trouble with them.
3. Bartolomeo
Bartolomeo burns the Red Hair’s flag
In the side story of “Stories of the Self-proclaimed Great Straw Hat Fleet”, Bartolomeo is shown to have burned the Red Hair Pirates’ flag in the lands it protected. In chapter 875, when Bartolomeo’s subordinates burn the Shanks’ emblem, he raises the Straw Hats’ emblem.
Therefore, even though they had reached the shore of Wano, Shanks and his teammates also wanted to see Luffy again, but they chose to leave because there was another important matter to deal with. Now the Red Hair Pirates are trying to get rid of Bartolomeo first, probably because Bartolome burned the Red Hair Pirates’ flag on an island they protected.
