The war between Frankie and Sasaki is over and Yamato’s Devil Fruit powers are revealed.
One Pice Chapter 1019. The number of traitors has been revealed, with over 300 Headliners and Gifters under the power of O-Tama’s Devil Fruit. After they started fighting their former comrades, their 1000 subordinates also turned against the Beast Pirates. This made O-Tama their target, but fortunately her “friends” helped her, Nami and Usopp escape the Show. Zeus and Nami created, with Zeus becoming Nami’s assistant. Meanwhile, members of CP-0 are monitoring the probabilities, revealing that it is 16,000 Beast Pirates against 9,000 Alliance members. Not only that, they also reveal to the readers that their real reason for coming to Onigashima is to assassinate someone if they survive the battle. That person is Tobi Roppo’s Who’s-Who member. While fighting against Jimbei, he recounts his time in prison for failing to stop Shanks’ theft of Gomu-Gomu no Mi twelve years ago. He is told about the legendary martial artist and the Sun God Nika, who is said to be the protector and savior of the slaves. Since Jimbei comes from a group of people who were targets of slavery and the leader of the Sun Pirates, Who’s-Who believes he will know if the stories are true or not.
The chapter opens on the Showroom where Queen and Sanji will go head to head. Meanwhile, Zoro chastises Dr. Miyagi for not removing the bandages before injecting the swordsman, and the injection is given at last. At sea, Luffy finally arrives, screaming for meat as the Heart Pirates try to figure out what the best method of resuscitation is. In another development, the battle between Sasaki and Frankie was still fierce. Beast Pirate changes from his dinosaur form to his Man-Beast form. Suddenly, the fin on Sasaki’s neck started spinning and lifted him up in the air.
Frankie, understandably, confused, asks if that’s how all dinosaurs work. Using his newly found flight and his Screw Sword, Sasaki unleashes a whirlwind attack on his former comrades. Frankie prepares for an attack with her Common Shield technique, but Sasaki launches herself backwards instead. Rather than being an accident as Frankie believes, instead give him enough space to create a runway. Sasaki explains that with more room, the more he can accelerate and the greater his attack power, then launches a Bulletriceratops attack. Sasaki’s attack caused Frankie’s shoulder rocket to explode. He counterattacked with a General Suplex, then tried to finish him off with the V-For-Victory Flash, but Sasaki was able to dodge in the air. He was forced to sword fight,
Frankie retreats, trying to make sure Sasaki can’t make it to the Performance Floor. Sasaki launches another Bulletriceratops attack at him, but Frankie is able to fire a General Cannon attack at him while he’s in flight. This angered the Beast Pirate and he vowed to take Frankie out with him if he needed to. Frankie unleashes one final attack, his Frankie Radical Beam, blasting a hole through Sasaki’s stomach. The attack pushes Sasaki to the floor, his body smoking, and Frankie wins.
On the rooftop of Skull Dome, Kaido and Yamato are in the middle of their battle, Kaido praising Yamato’s strength as a soldier. Yamato counters this, saying that he worked hard for the devil fruit he ate, but Kaido says it never made sense for him. Yamato explains that he is hungry and doesn’t understand that Devil Fruits will change him, and that he wants to row a boat but can’t swim anymore. He went on to say that he tried to kill his father many times, but was always beaten and the losses made him stronger. We showed a close-up of Yamato using his Devil Fruit powers, with a snout and fangs. He says that the handcuffs weren’t the only thing keeping him in Onigashima, that if he hadn’t fought for Wano Country, he couldn’t have called himself Oden. The last two panels reveal that Yamato and Kaido are both hybrids, with Yamato’s appearance resembling a fox or a wolf.
There is a bonus chapter released with this week’s chapter. Called “A Beautiful Dessert”, we were transported to the Alabasta Kingdom. A party is going on to celebrate the kingdom being saved, and the Straw Hats are cutting. Sanji apologizes for Luffy’s bad manners and his face full of food and asks if the kitchen is okay to handle such a large amount of food. Vivi assures Sanji that everything is fine and explains that Chef Terracotta is excited about the event. She encourages Sanji to relax and eat, and Sanji thinks to himself how sweet she is, then tries feeding her himself. He stepped away from the table, intending to make a special dessert for Nami and Vivi. He overheard a few security guards talking about how fast the kitchen must be and that the head chef had sent out for extra help ahead of time. However,
The entire staff went into a state of panic, mainly due to Luffy’s insatiable appetite. Sanji steps in and offers her services to help relieve the stress. Chef Terracotta accepts the help, and Sanji warns her not to be too harsh on him in jest. He started cooking and was able to quickly prepare a full meal in no time. He continued to help, spending time flirting with female employees, and everyone was impressed with his skills. His joy for cooking is evident and the kitchen instills his love for art. The sub-chefs finally made it and everyone was very relieved. Sanji returned to the dining room table, acting as if he had gone out for some fresh air. Luffy finally said he was full, to the relief of the wait staff. He introduces Vivi to a desert-inspired dessert called Roz Bel Laban. After tasting it, Vivi thinks about the struggles she went through to save her country. Sanji asks Vivi to dance, but is interrupted by Nami asking why she didn’t get any. Sanji says the kitchen is too busy. As a reward for his kindness, Chef Terracotta gives Sanji a secret palace cookbook. Then the group set off for their next adventure.
The next chapter will be available in English on August 1.
