Luck fell on a key fighter, but not so well as the battle began to come to an end.

In the previous chapter, members of CP0 reported the current situation of the raid to Rob Lucci, who is currently not on the island. Even if Kaido loses the fight with Luffy, Lucci doesn’t mind because the World Government is ready to take over Wano when the war is over and a fleet of ships is on the way. Either way, Wano will be under the influence of the World Government. He also ordered Robin to be captured alive and brought to him. Meanwhile, Momonosuke is struggling to create the Clouds of Fire he needs to be able to stop Onigashima from flying closer to the Flower Capital. Yamato has returned to the island to try to avert a greater disaster should the island fall, leaving the future Shogun alone to find a way to control his powers.
As this was going on, Sanji was struggling in his duel with the Queen, apparently still suffering from the side effects of wearing the Raid Suit. Queen, fascinated by the technology, urged Sanji to use it again, but sanji continued to refuse. After taking the full blow, Queen reverts to her Brachiosaurus form and reveals a new technique. Queen prepares for a laser attack, but Sanji flees, terrified of what is happening to her body. He began to panic, wondering if he had lost his humanity. Some viewers recognized who Sanji was and started shooting at him, hoping to get his bounty. This only infuriated him, but Queen came between them and fired his laser at the chef, encouraging the young man to put on the Raid Suit again.
On the Castle’s Second Floor, Big Mom loomed over Eustass Kid, ready to finish him off as Trafalgar Law watched. Unbeknownst to him, though, there was an invisible warrior that injured Big Mom. He launches a Chambres Counter Shock attack on Big Mom, but this angers Prometheus and he launches a Stolen Fire attack on him. The attack lands, and Big Mom is able to crush Kid under her Mamaraid attack. Kid stood up, confused as to why he felt so strange. He tries to understand what is happening to him, saying that he cannot die after reaching the Yonko. Big Mom laughs at him, saying that it looks like he will probably die alone without having to do anything.
Then, cut in by the fight between Hawkins and Killer. Hawkins is banging his head on a pole, giving Kid a headache. Killer begs him to stop. Hawkins taunted him, saying that he couldn’t believe that Killer ate the Fruit of Smile and calling him “a miserable wretch.” Killer’s teammates ask why they can’t help, but Killer orders them to stay put. When they begged him to fight because the flames were approaching and they needed to escape, Killer made an offer to Hawkins: his life in Kid’s place.
Hawkins kicks him in the head, saying it’s good to put one’s vision high in regards to Kid’s dreams. Killer agrees and once again begs him to stop sabotaging that dream. Hawkins responded by saying that if he was stopping Killer from achieving his dream, he needed to take down Hawkins or surrender. He claims there is no way to defeat Kaido and Big Mom, but Killer tells him not to get emotional. He said he knew Hawkins regretted joining Kaido because he was scared to death. This had an effect on Hawkins, and he had his sword ready. Killer then asked him where the damage he caused would go without a proper conduit to absorb it. Hawkins reminds him that damage will come to the Kid as long as his doll remains in Hawkins’ body.
The killer severed Hawkins’ left arm, and revealed that he was able to do this because Kid didn’t have a left arm of his own. Then he asked his second question. Once he removed the Kid’s doll from his severed arm, how many lives were left to protect Hawkins’? Hawkins replied that it was the last time before drawing the Death Strawman Card. This summons a large scarecrow-like grim reaper, which wields the scythe and sends it flying towards Killer, but he decapitates it. Hawkins tried his Strawman Card technique again, but he managed to draw The Tower. This gives Killer the opening he needs to launch a final, devastating attack on the Spin & Sonic Attack, ending the fight quickly.
