Koby is a character introduced before the official formation of the Straw Hats. When he first appeared, he was just a kid doing errands on the Iron Mace pirate ship Alvida.
The story begins one day, while fishing, Koby got lost on her ship and was later captured as a slave. It was Luffy who freed him after defeating Alvida. It was also the time when Luffy had just started sailing, so he didn’t have a complete ship yet.
However, Koby still agreed to go with him to the town of Shell, where the two met the famous Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro. Although their companionship was brief, they had an enjoyable time.
Finally Koby determined to join the navy and was fortunate to be trained by the legendary hero Garp.
Trafalgar Law
Trafalgar Law is one of the Pirates of the Worst Generation. He is originally from the North Sea and is the captain of the Heart Pirates. Similar to Luffy, he has made a name for himself in the New World and was even given the position of Shichibukai in the Timeskip.
When Law was working on his plan on Punk Hazard Island, the Straw Hats suddenly appeared. From that point on, he had more allies to start working on his plan to take down Doflamingo.
Law sailed with Luffy from Punk Hazard all the way to Dressrosa, then Zou and finally Wano. After a landslide battle with the two Yonko in Wano, he chose a different path to take and was intercepted by the Yonko of Blackbeard.
Kin’emon
Kin’emon is a proud samurai of the land of Wano. This character was introduced to the audience in the Punk Hazard Arc. It was he who led the Straw Hat Pirates to this island Punk Hazard while constantly screaming for his son.
Upon hearing the cry for help, the Straw Hat Pirates moved their ship in the direction of Punk Hazard and then met a samurai named Kin’emon. He later accompanied their crew until the overthrow of the Yonko Kaido and the Shogun of Wano Orochi.
Kin’emon followed the Sunny from Punk Hazard to Dressrosa and then to Zou Island. He continued to Wano with half of the Straw Hats.
After that, an alliance of pirates, samurai and official was formed to carry out the goal of fighting against Kaido and Orochi to liberate the Wano nation once and for all.
Momonosuke
Momonosuke has the same appearance as Kin’emon at the Punk Hazard Arc. Originally, he was introduced as the son of Kin’emon. However, Momonosuke has revealed that he is actually the son of Wano’s famous warlord, Kozuki Oden.
Momonosuke is the heir to his father’s position and is being pursued by Kaido and his men. He decided to go to sea to find powerful allies to help regain freedom for the country, thereby fortunately meeting Luffy and the Straw Hats.
Momo was on the Sunny train from Punk Hazard all the way to Wano just like Kin’emon. At the end of the Wano Arc, he was officially recognized as the Shogun of this place and started taking over the country from that point on in place of his father.
Carrot
Carrot is a talking rabbit and a member of the famous Mink clan from Zou, a country that rests on the back of the giant elephant Zunesha. Carrot is introduced in the work from the Zou Island Arc and quickly becomes part of the Straw Hats.
When Luffy and his crew departed for Cake Island with the goal of rescuing Sanji and stealing Big Mom’s Poneglyphs, Carrot snuck aboard and went on an adventure with them.
On Cake Island, she proved her worth and greatly aided the Straw Hats in their battle against Big Mom and her fleet. She also helped rescue Sanji and set off with the crew to Wano.
After the Wano War ended, Carrot was made the Principality of Mokomo with the task of governing the country. Although she was still surprised, she still decided to take on a great role and use all her abilities to fulfill the responsibility.
Vivi
Vivi is introduced to the audience in the Whiskey Peak arc as Miss Wednesday, one of the agents of the crime organization Baroque Works led by Crocodile.
Then the truth is revealed and everyone knows Vivi is a secret agent in the organization. Her true identity is the Princess of Alabasta Kingdom.
After her secret was revealed at Whiskey Peak, Vivi was helped by the Straw Hats and together they departed for Alabasta. While adventuring with them, Vivi considered herself part of the Straw Hats for a long time.
Even to this day, she is still considered an unofficial member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Before parting, she promised that one day she would return with her comrades and adventure at sea with them.
