It seems that Saitama’s power has reached new heights.
One Punch Man chapter 215 showed that Saitama’s power is still growing exponentially. In fact, Saitama’s growth rate took place silently, no one knew because no one had ever come close to his strength… suddenly began to grow by leaps and bounds during the fight with Garou. So much so that the normal laws of physics could not apply to the bald man.
Here are some moments where Saitama defies the laws of physics in One Punch Man:
1. When trying to move faster than your image in the mirror
In a sub-chapter titled Back of My Head, Saitama, who was still training at the time, began to notice that his hair was starting to fall out. So he tried to see the back of his head in the mirror. Before many failures, Saitama was finally able to do this after a process of trying to turn around quickly.
2. Break through the Phoenix dimension while helping the Child Emperor
Saitama told the Phoenix Man that he went to the Phoenix dimension
This moment is in the edit chapter where Saitama is dragged into the fight between Child Emperor and Phoenix Man. In the redraw version, the Phoenix Man managed to drag the Child Emperor into his personal space known as the Phoenix Space. The monster also used that moment to draw the little hero to his side.
Unfortunately, the phoenix’s efforts failed because of Saitama’s unexpected “break-in”, when he penetrated his dimensional wall. After threatening the Phoenix Man, Saitama was able to free the Child Emperor from the monster’s clutches.
3. Breathe and talk on one of Jupiter’s moons, while fighting Garou
Saitama and Garou are stuck on Jupiter’s moon
In the past, we have seen Saitama hold his breath when he was sent flying by Boros to the earth’s moon.
However, while on Jupiter’s moon, Saitama is able to breathe and talk fluently without having to hold his breath like before. Even Saitama was able to fight Garou here without any problems. While in reality, both of them were in a vacuum where no sound would normally be heard.
It seems that this possibility was only possible because Saitama was really angry at the time Garou had murdered Genos at that time.
4. Saitama easily kicked Garou’s dimensional portal
Saitama kicked the gate of Garou
Not only has the ability to exist in space with a human body without protective gear, Saitama has also been shown to have the ability to “interact” with special dimensions.
An example is when Garou tried to trap Saitama into the portal he created. Seeing that, the bald man kicked the space portal away like a ball. This moment shocked Garou because it felt so absurd.
Later, when Garou tried to sneak in from behind, Saitama grabbed the gate and changed its direction upwards. As a result, Garou’s attack missed and Saitama’s punch hit the hero hunter.
5. Time travel by “copying” Garou’s technique
Saitama travels through time
After realizing what he had done put Tareo in danger, Garou asked Saitama to copy his technique and transcend it further. Garou passed on to Sai the most powerful ultimate technique of his “fist”. Although Garou had understood it, he himself was unable to do so, even after receiving the power of God.
Saitama also tries to get the matter and antimatter particles in his body to start moving according to Garou’s teachings. As a result, Saitama was able to time travel to the past, to exactly the time before Garou murdered Genos.
The bald man tried to prevent casualties by hitting Garou hard in the past until the God-given powers began to fade away. Thanks to that, radiation casualties and Genos being cored by Garou were prevented.
