“Zankyo Sanka” was released digitally on December 6, 2021, and reached number one for the first time in Aimer’s career on Billboard’s Japan chart on December 15. The song also served as a double A-side single with “Asa ga Kuru,” the ending theme for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc,” and topped the Oricon weekly singles chart in its first week release.
