After an absence of 2021 in the international arena, LoL Vietnam promises to come back extremely strongly in 2022 with a quality lineup of players.
Glory
It would not be an exaggeration to say that it was Glory who single-handedly brought SKY to 3rd place in the final VCS Winter 2021. Whether facing the 3-time VCS champion, Kati or the defending champion VCS Yado, Glory both show a better laning ability, as well as the influence in the fight phase is not inferior. In the upcoming 2022 season, if it can play in a more even line-up, Glory has a chance to shine not only in VCS but also in international arenas.
Artemis
Since Slayder, Vietnamese League of Legends fans have seen a super gunner with an eye-catching gameplay like Artemis. Even many people consider Artemis slightly better than Slayder in terms of lane ability as well as champion pool. In the last VCS Winter 2021 final, Artemis used 5 different ADCs in 5 games and all had good to excellent KDAs.
In addition, Artemis also possesses the “gossip” of a top marksman when he has many situations leading the team as a champion that opens a real fight. As long as Artemis and CES keep their form in 2022, the opportunity for this super gunner to shine in international tournaments is completely grounded.
EGO
Accompanying Artemis on the upcoming journey will be a talented teammate – the name dubbed “Levi’s crystal” – EGO. After an unfortunate absence from the Spring 2021 tournament, EGO came back extremely strongly in the Winter tournament and together with CES toppled GAM to step up to the VCS throne.
Up until now, the jungle position has always been the highlight of Vietnamese League of Legends in the international arena. And in the coming 2022, perhaps that highlight will call the name EGO as what this player promised to his idol – also another satyr of Vietnamese League of Legends – SofM.
