The Pokémon Trading Card Game Live beta began February 22 in Canada before being more popular elsewhere.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will launch in limited beta in Canada on February 22. This release offers a new way to experience Pokémon TCG where you can collect cards, build decks, and battle with his friends.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is a free game and will be available on mobile, PC and Mac. Meanwhile, Pokémon TCG Online will be shutting down before the release of Pokémon Trading Card Game Live.
Game tested in Canada.
If you are a Pokémon TCG Online player, your data will be transferred to the new Pokémon Trading Card Game Live. The game allows fans to collect rich cards, build powerful decks, battle with friends and much more.
Players can add cards to their collection in a variety of ways including scanning code cards, exchanging in-game currency for booster packs, and participating in daily quests. Pokémon TCG Live is free to play and will be available to Canadian players.
In a press release, the Pokémon Company said, Pokémon TCG Live is “a new online game that allows players to enjoy the Pokémon trading card game in digital format”. This new title will not replace the traditional physical card game.
The game will be released at the end of 2022.
Instead, it will act as an alternative for interested fans to be able to play for free without in-game purchases. Code cards in physical booster packs will also return, allowing players to develop real-life and in-game decks simultaneously.
The new product is expected to include many of the features found in Pokémon TCG Online, including fighting with friends and building decks. The press release also mentions that the new daily quests feature will allow all players, regardless of skill level, to receive rewards for their efforts. Players of the mobile or PC version of this game will be able to participate in cross-play and have the same “cross-play” capabilities as Pokémon UNITE.
Pokémon TCG Live is expected to release on PC and mobile internationally later this year.
