Pop Team Epic Repeat version of the first series finished this week
Kodoani.com – A teaser video announced on Sunday that the anime series Pop Team Epic Monday has been given the green light for the following year. Video released after Pop Team Epic Repeat (remix version), a rebroadcast of the Pop Team Epic television anime series, ends. The video features two versions of Shōta Aoi, the voice actor, who made a memorable appearance at the end of the first series.
Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE are streaming Pop Team Epic Repeat as it airs in Japan.
Crunchyroll describes the series:
Rude, rude and a little… cute? Get ready for the bigger life attitude of Popuko and Pipimi, the little and tall stars of Pop Team Epic! Based on the four-panel webcomic by Bukubu Ōkawa, there’s a comedy that will keep you hooked with its intense jokes and silliness. You think you are ready for these girls? Think again, F#%**er!
The initial broadcast of the first series featured Masashi Ebara and Houchu Ohtsuka as Popuko and Pipimi in the first half of the first episode, and Yuji Mitsuya and Noriko Hidaka as Popuko and Pipimi in the second half.
The first television anime series premiered in January 2018.
Full episodes of the original anime are 23 minutes long. Each episode has two main parts with much of the same content. The two seasons feature different voice actors, as well as some different content like altered jokes.
The anime adaptation of Bkub Okawa’s surreal four-panel manga revolves around two 14-year-old girls, the short Popuko and the tall Pipimi.
