At this point, Bethesda has plenty of exciting future products in store that fans of the studio and their brands will be delighted to learn more about. Topping this list is undoubtedly Starfield, followed by Arkane Studios’ Redfield, to say nothing of the publisher’s numerous other development studios that have yet to fully disclose their projects.
While everyone expected Bethesda to fire the big shot at this year’s QuakeCon event, the publisher just revealed the official schedule for this year’s Quake-themed game convention and it looks like it’s pretty lacking in highlights. . Specifically, some of their most important names are completely missing, with less prominent products being featured instead.
Bethesda’s plans for 2022 were nothing short of amazing at the start of the year, even if only because the Starfield event was supposed to launch. However, the studio’s flagship RPG was later pushed back, and the vampire slaying RPG Redfall suffered a similar fate. This leaves Bethesda in a precarious position, although it is still expected that QuakeCon 2022 will feature both titles to some extent. Starfield, however, is completely absent because the schedule has been announced by the father and Redfall is not in the planned introduction.
As the standout production behind Dishonored and Deathloop, Arkane Studios’ curious FPS Redfall only had a 30-minute trailer at the start of QuakeCon 2022 by the looks of it. Rather than discuss these two major future releases, Bethesda appears to be using this year’s QuakeCon to host future content showcases of existing games. Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online seem to be the standouts this time around.
Of course, the community has plenty of burning questions about Bethesda’s Starfield at this point. Despite knowing a lot about the game, it’s still an effective release that’s unprecedented in modern times, as Bethesda has previously focused primarily on Fallout and The Elder Scrolls to advance production plans. from my main studio. Meanwhile, Starfield is brand new and the fan base will be delighted to learn more about how its game system might combine in practice.
Whatever the case may be, it seems unlikely that QuakeCon 2022 will deliver any industry-shaking revelations about Starfield or Redfall. However, Bethesda fans can expect a host of content related to their pre-releases, such as Ghostwire Tokyo, and needless to say, it’s still too early for Fallout 5 to get any leeway. any meaning is noticed.
