Overwatch 2’s next Tanker character is Ramattra, which looks set to combine shooter gameplay and the ability to sweep teammates in 5vs5 mode.
The new character, Ramattra, has brought a lot of interesting information to players. Ramattra will be the fourth Hero added to the cast of part 2 and is designed as a Tanker in a 5vs5 squad. His inclusion is notable, as Blizzard has said that they are trying to add more heroes to the Tanker and Support and Support roles before the already extensive list of DPS characters. Currently, Ramattra is set to release on December 6, along with a new map as Overwatch 2’s second season begins.
About the idea of creating the character Ramattra was discussed during a Korean PR event on November 18 by Blizzard employees. All info is subject to change, but for now, Ramattra can use 3 skills, one of which will switch him out of his base Omnic form and into Nemesis form. This shape change is a bit like how Bastion builds work in Overwatch 2. Ramattra will be a pure Tank character, and can fight in ranged combat in Omnic form or can transform into melee combat. while in Nemesis form. A detailed list of Ramattra’s skill set has been posted to Twitter by popular Overwatch messenger Naeri X.
The most important thing about Ramattra is that when he can switch from Omnic to Nemesis, there is still no exact time when it will change Ramattra’s gameplay. With a staff weapon and his main attack called Void Accelerator allows him to fire a bullet when left-clicking and has a 100-round magazine, while right-clicking creates a defensive barrier at a target location, although details about this skill have yet to be revealed.
In Nemesis form, the left click becomes a devastating punch that releases shockwaves that hit multiple targets, possibly similar to Doomfist’s strategy in Overwatch 2, and the right click becomes a self-slowing shield. movement but greatly reduces the damage taken. Ramattra will also gain 150 armor in Nemesis form, bringing his total health to 600. Ramattra’s E skill is called Vortex of Gluttony, which creates a field of damage that slows enemies and forces any character. above do not have to move to the ground.
Ramattra’s ultimate will bring a lot of unexpected changes in combat, as it will transform him into Nemesis form and create an energy zone around him. This energy zone will damage enemies, and as long as Ramattra deals damage to enemies in the area, the ultimate will continue to damage all surrounding enemies. You need to note that this information may change in the future but the launch of Ramattra will bring a new breeze to players.
