Faker asserted that the reason why he and his T1 teammates failed at MSI 2022 against RNG was because the team was hungry.
For Faker in particular and T1 as well as their fans in general, the defeat at MSI 2022 is still “hard to swallow”. Because, never has T1 been appreciated as in the last MSI 2022, since the rebuilding phase of the entire team. “In game 5 of the MSI 2022 Finals, I was a bit hungry in game 5, so I lacked concentration. If it’s like that next time, I’ll eat the banana first. Also, I think we didn’t prepare well, like in the lineup selection. However, Faker himself also admitted that T1 did not prepare well for the lineup of generals to compete at MSI 2022. And therefore, the reason for being hungry might just be a secondary factor. But surely, Faker and his teammates will have to prepare more carefully in the upcoming international tournament with a much more important nature – Worlds 2022 if they still hope to win the title.
