Bokuto Uno’s previous Alderamin on the Sky story is also an anime adaptation
Kodoani.com – The Dengeki Bunko Winter Festival livestream announced on Saturday that Bokuto Uno’s novel is Reign of Seven Spellblades (Nanatsu No Maken ga Shihai Suru) will have an anime adaptation.
Yen Press publishes the light novel series in English and it describes the story:
Spring at Kimberly Magic Academy, when students are just starting their freshman year. A boy, wearing a black robe with a white cane and a sword at his waist, approached the prestigious school. This young man – Oliver – must befriend a katana-wielding girl named Nanao if he can survive the dangers he faces at the seemingly unconventional school!
Uno published the first volume of Reign of the Seven Spellblades novels in September 2018 with illustrations by Ruria Miyuki. Dengeki Bunko Imprint publishes the eighth volume on the 10th of the #1 ranked novel series in the 2020 edition of Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!)
Sakae Esuno launched a manga adaptation of the Reign of the Seven Spellblades novel in Kadokawa’s Shounen Ace magazine in May 2019.
Uno’s Alderamin on the Sky light novel series ran from 2012 to August 2018. Those novels inspired a television anime series in 2016.
