The official release date for the much-anticipated return of The Case Study of Vanitas has finally been revealed to fans’ eagerness and excitement.

According to the anime’s official Twitter account, Season 2 of the hit vampire anime series will premiere in Japan on January 14, 2022. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the sequel to the series ever since. the first half of the series ended in September. The last part of season 1 left many of the story’s questions unanswered, meaning there were many directions season 2 could take.

Based on the manga of the same name by Jun Mochizuki, Case Study of Vanitas is set in 19th century Paris and combines elements of dark fantasy and steampunk passion. The story follows Noé Archiviste, a vampire, and Vanitas, a human doctor, as they work together to heal corrupted vampires, a curse that turns vampires into hunters. bait against their will.
The anime adaptation is produced by animation studio Bones (My Hero Academia: World Heroes ‘Mission, Godzilla Singular Point) with Tomoyuki Itamura (Owarimonogatari, Tsukimonogatari) as director.
