Closing his second leg at ASCI 2022, the representative of Vietnam – MGN Box Esports had to bid farewell at the tournament with a result of 2-4 in the group stage of ASCI 2022.
During the last group stage, MGN Box Esports made great efforts but still could not beat 2 opponents BYG.A and HY even by one match. In particular, the Vietnamese representative won DFM.A in both the first and second legs, but that was not enough for MBE to advance to the Playoffs.
On the final day of the group stage, MBE continued to beat DFM.A with an impressive performance.
But entering 2 matches with BYG.A and HY, MBE was completely destroyed by the opponent. With BYG.A, this team brought out Varus AP in the mid lane – a style that can only be seen in ranked but not in professional tournaments. As for HY, this team’s Nidalee and Sylas bought the Mejai Spellbook to show their superiority over the MBE.
With these 2 overwhelming defeats, perhaps MBE will need to improve a lot in both individual skills and tactical operations if they want to defeat international opponents in the future.
In addition, MBE also had to bid farewell to the ASCI 2022 tournament after losing to BYG.A and HY in the second leg. With a stop in the top 3 of Group A, MBE will be in the top 9-12 tournaments and win $ 1,000 (about 23 million VND) in prize money.
