Kodoani.com – Official website for the television anime of the light novel series The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Man ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) by Saekisan began playing a new promotional video on Saturday. The video reveals the opening song “Gift” by Masayoshi Ōishi.
The website also revealed a Christmas visual for the anime.
The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on January 7 at 10:30 p.m. JST. The series will then air on BS NTV and AT-X.
There will be a pre-screening of the first three episodes at TOHO CINEMAS Ikebukuro in Tokyo on December 24 at 6:00 pm with the participation of the cast. There will also be screenings without the cast at TOHO CINEMAS Namba in Osaka and 109 Cinemas Nagoya in Aichi.

Kenichi Imaizumi is overseeing the anime at project No.9, and Li Hua Wang will direct the film. (Imaizumi was previously listed as the series’ director and Wang was previously not named among the staff.) Keiichirō Ōchi is in charge of the series’ scripts. Takayuki Noguchi (Queen’s Blade: Rebellion, Cinderella Nine) is adapting Hanekoto’s original character designs into animation. Moe Hyūga composed the music.
Amane lives alone in an apartment, and the prettiest girl in school, Mahiru, lives next door. They almost never spoke to each other until the day he saw her in an accident on a rainy day and lent her his umbrella. In return, she asked him to help with the housework, and a relationship gradually blossomed as the two grew closer…
Saekisan began serializing the story on “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Become a Novelist) website in December 2018. SB Creative’s GA Bunko publishing house began publishing the story in print with pictures. illustrations by Hanekoto in June 2019 and the series has more than 500,000 copies in circulation. A manga adaptation has debuted on Manga UP! in January.
