Kodoani.com – The following are spoilers for Rent-A-Girlfriend episode 3 part 2
Season 2 of Rent-A-Girlfriend got off to a very solid start. Humor hit the humor and the romantic components turned out to be super adorable and sweet. Last season saw Kazuya as a useless guy and kind of scum, but this season he has improved significantly. After the episode about the guy dating Chizuru to build their relationship. Chizuru ends up locked in her apartment and needs Kazuya for help. While she was there, Mami appeared. The last time they saw her, she said they didn’t need to hang out together anymore, so they both tried to hide from her. However, now that a confrontation seems imminent, how will the two overcome it?
This episode starts right where the post-credits scene is, with Chizuru at the door saying she’s locked. That’s after they spend most of their day together simply hanging out and chatting. Most likely she left her keys at one of the places they passed that day. It seemed like Chizuru was asking if she could stay at Kazuya’s place for the night.
Unexpected guests
Kazuya was shocked to see Mizuhara at his door late at night, and even when she said that she had lost her keys, Kazuya couldn’t understand what she wanted. Kazuya tries to put it together, considering why she rings his doorbell if she can’t get into his apartment and why she even asks to come into his house. Chizuru then explains how she reached out to her landlord and many others for a solution, but it all led to a dead end. This is where Kazuya finally deduces that she must want to spend the night and after wrestling with the idea, Kazuya agrees to give her the ability to spend the night.
Unfortunately for him, Chizuru only needed to go out to the back balcony to check the back door of her apartment. While she was doing it, with her legs and butt twisted, Kazuya was staring and when he saw Chizuru about to fall and then reached forward to catch Chizuru. When he did, he ended up grabbing her butt. Instead, she told him to grab her waist, but then they found it didn’t do much good. She told Kazuya to let go, and then she collapsed and lay on her head in an awkward position. Kazuya hopes she will get upset with him, but in reality she just shyly asks Kazuya to leave her with a red face.
Fortunately for Chizuru, nothing happened, when the doorbell rang. The two quickly parted and Kazuya went to check the door. When Kazuya checked through the binoculars, he saw that it was Mami, his ex-girlfriend. Kazuya tells Chizuru and the two start panicking because Mami wanted them to stop seeing each other and threatened Chizuru if she didn’t. The problem is, Kazuya mustn’t know that. Mami said to Kazuya. The door wasn’t unlocked, so Mami began to crawl in on her own, and Kazuya and Chizuru hid in the kitchen out of her sight. Finally Mami closed the door and decided to leave. She assumed Kazuya was going for a walk, but when she got home, her mind returned to the scene, and she realized she saw a woman’s purse lying in the middle of the apartment.
Conversations from the heart
They waited for a while after Mami left and then went out to check. Kazuya sees that she has disappeared but Chizuru notices that the host has returned. When she leaves to get help from her landlord, Kazuya asks Chizuru to rely on him more, which is quite a big step for the guy. Kazuya says he knows she has a family, but he wants to be there. After that, Chizuru made a confession. Apart from her grandmother, Chizuru doesn’t have any other family. Her father abandoned Chizuru, then Chizuru’s mother and grandfather both passed away. The reason Chizuru is even working hard is because she promised her grandfather that she would become an actress before he passed away, and so her dream is to become an actress. and let her grandmother watch her act on television. When Chizuru told him this, Kazuya responded by saying how he was the one who had it all. I lead a carefree life with both parents and a doting grandmother. For Kazuya, his future seems set as he takes over his family’s convenience store. He owes them all for all they have done but in contrast to Chizuru, she is amazing because she is pursuing her dream with all she has despite the difficulties that are piling up on her. that.
Chizuru calls Kazuya an idiot for saying how he wants to be with her forever cheering her up, but also how she can’t stop Kazuya because of her job as a rental girlfriend. The two said goodbye to each other and went to sleep. The next morning, he saw her in the hallway at school and despite the fact that the two of them were supposed to ignore each other, Chizuru waved him a hand to acknowledge the presence. This simple gesture delighted Kazuya and then he started skipping his next class when it came to the end for the episode. When the credits end, the episode ends with Kazuya at a printer and Mami appearing behind her to ask her questions.
Conclusion
If the previous episode was only 8/10 for how their relationship progressed, this episode should be 10/10. The previous episode had Chizuru take on the role of developing their relationship but this episode, Kazuya takes over. He tells her that he wants to be with her, how much he admires her, and how Chizuru should keep pushing towards his dream. Even putting the bitter moments aside, the two seem to have grown closer as friends. This is also one of the times when Kazuya talks about himself in a way that isn’t entirely self-deprecating, and it seems that Chizuru also respects Kazuya more.
The Mami scene seems to be only there to stage future conflicts, which is to be expected, but it also causes some great tension. The Chizuru situation itself is also something for fanservice and the humor as Kazuya grabs her butt to try to save deserves an A+. It’s hard to pick out what’s not so good about the episode as it delivers what any fan would want, the main couple’s progression and character development while also bringing up the conflicts. new. We haven’t seen much of Ruka and Sumi in a while, but it looks like that will change in the upcoming episode. Overall, the episode was great and there was little to complain about. Fans will be excited to see the sequel.
