The anime adaptation of Sakuya Kuroda’s manga is Rich Police Cash! (Rich Kaikan Cash) launched on YouTube Friday.
Shōya Miki is directing the anime at Sorajima Studio. Sōma Saitō plays Cash, and Minami Tanaka plays Hakona, Cash’s old best friend police officer. Coro Coro Comics is handling the planning and oversight.
The series is about a police officer named Cash who solves every case with the power of money. The anime will tell new stories that were not present in the original manga.
The manga launched in Coro Coro Comics in October 2019. Shogakukan published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume on May 28 and will publish the fifth volume on November 26.
The manga previously adapted a “comic anime” that debuted on the YouTube Coro Coro Channel in January 2020.
