Riot continues to bring expected information about the fighting game based on League of Legends – Project L.
Project L will be released for free to all players right after launch. This is information that has just been shared by the Director of Development, Tom Cannon, in an updated clip about the production process of this game.
In celebration of League of Legends’ 10th birthday in 2019, Riot introduced a series of new games with different genres based on the League of Legends universe. In it, Project L is a representative of the fighting game series, similar to Street Fighter.
With 2.5D graphics and the appearance of a series of champions in League of Legends, Project L really makes the gaming community curious. And after a long time of silence, Riot recently mentioned this game with a series of interesting information.
“One of our goals in development is to remove all barriers for gamers to Project L. No matter where you live, your skills, or your financial condition, you can still take advantage of the game. enjoy this game. Project L will be a completely free game.” Director Tom Cannon shared.

Besides, Riot also dedicated a very long post to meticulously introduce the design process of general Illaoi in Project L. In the near future, many other champions will also have similar updates.
Riot said that Project L is currently still in the process of being completed, so the official launch date for this game has not been announced yet. However, in the clip above, Tom Cannon also revealed that there will be more notable information at the end of 2022. Therefore, the community expects Project L to be released soon in early 2023.
