Update 12.10 will lead to a huge change in the meta of League of Legends in terms of picks and bans as well as gameplay.
As revealed recently, Riot Games realizes that damage in League of Legends is too high and will make adjustments to change that.
So recently, Riot Games has announced that it will increase the entire resistance of all champions in League of Legends including base health, health increase by level, armor by level and magic resistance by level.
The main reason is because Riot Games and the gaming community all agree that there is too much damage in League of Legends. And Riot wants to create opportunities for players to show high skill with the potential to counterattack at key moments. Besides, Riot said that he directed League of Legends to a meta “no lives for the first 15 minutes” of the match.
On the other hand, Riot also wants to create more engaging and long-term teamfights instead of “evaporating” in a flash.
With that criterion and perspective, Riot Games has come up with a few things that the League of Legends gaming community needs to be familiar with in the 12.10 update as follows:
“Players will feel like their champions deal less damage.
Shock champions will need more resources or a lot of lead to get quick kills.
Each player has more chances to counterattack.
Single skirmishes and teamfights will last longer.”
