Accordingly, Riot plans to edit Mundo to become a monster that sweeps the fight at the end of the game instead of just making a sandbag as it is now.
When he was first reworked, Mundo had such a long period of dominance in Top lane, that even Riot himself had to admit that he was really too OP (too strong). Then, after that, this Zaun maniac was constantly subjected to various nerfs, so much so that he was knocked out of the meta from time to time. Aware of the problem, Riot decided to plan to slightly tweak Mundo’s kit to turn him from a portable sandbag into a real monster in the late game.
Pondering some Dr. Mundo changes, looking for any feedback. Goals:1) Minimally/don’t change winrate2) Make him more late game skewed and less early game3) Reduce earflicks (feelsbad kit messups) pic.twitter.com/dxUfKg7Yy3

The announcement that it would edit Mundo has been around for months, but a final decision still needs to be researched. Riot wants to aim for a brutish Mundo at the end of the game, so changes to the champion’s passive healing will be extremely important. The health cost of Contaminated Saw (Q) will be slightly reduced to compensate for the nerf of his passive healing. The upcoming Electrocardiogram (W) will also fix Mundo’s healing when jerking any target. The bonus attack power from his ult’s passive will now also be transferred to his E, giving him earlier damage and easier laning.
The most important thing is, Mundo’s moves will get stronger and stronger as the game progresses towards the end of the game. Q will deal more damage, the bonus damage from E will be proportional to the percentage of maximum health, especially the ultimate at the end of the game will give tons of healing. Mundo will no longer be a sandbag for the opponent’s ADC to shoot, but perhaps in the future this sandbag will go to drive the opponent’s Gunner to the ends of the earth to punch.
