More than just a Mutant Support, Blitzcrank can appear in Top or Jungle thanks to Riot’s upcoming tweak
More than just a Mutant Support, Blitzcrank can appear in the Top or Jungle thanks to Riot’s upcoming tweak.
LoL Support players are no one who has never played Blitzcrank – an “easy to play and easy to win” champion by pulling an opponent with a Rocket Hand (Q) towards him then letting his teammates torture. At the same time, Blitzcrank is also a nightmare for many newcomers when they are not familiar with the manipulations in League of Legends, from which it is difficult to dodge his pulls.
Dangerous pulls have long been a trademark of Steam Robots
However, can the Steam Robot do anything more than a mere Support? This is the question that a lot of Blitzcrank mains always ask, they are always trying to bring their favorite champion to different lanes or experiment with some new build paths. However, Blitzcrank at the moment is only suitable for only one Support position.
Fortunately, Riot Games is also testing Blitzcrank in a number of other locations, and to make that happen, the “father” of League of Legends has brought some adjustments to Steam Robot in version 12.19.
Specifically, the Steam Robot will receive the following tweaks in version 12.19:
Base Attack Speed increased from 0.625 to 0.65 Attack Speed Ratio increased from 0.625 to 0.7
W skill – Acceleration:
W skill bonus Attack Speed increased from 30 – 62% to 40 – 92%. Skill cost increased from 75 to 85 Mana. NEW: For the duration of the skill’s duration, basic attacks will add 1% of the enemy’s Health as Magic damage. Also, deals an additional 60 – 180 (based on level) to non-Champion enemy units
Skill E – Hook Punch:
Mana cost increased from 25 to 40. Now deals bonus Physical Damage equal to 25% of Blitzcrank’s Ability Power Also deals (150% Attack Damage + 125% Ability Power) bonus damage Physical damage to enemies other than Heroes.
Skill R – Electromagnetic Field:
Max target increased from 3 enemies to unlimited. Passive damage increased from 30% at all ranks to 30/40/50%.
In general, this adjustment is aiming for Blitzcrank to become a jungler with strong ganking ability thanks to Rocket Hand (Q). W – Acceleration and E – Hooks have been adjusted to deal damage to monsters and turrets to make Blitzcrank stronger in clearing the jungle and quickly eroding enemy buildings. Blitzcrank’s hand-to-hand ability is also improved thanks to the ability to deal damage as % Health while W – Acceleration is on.
Regarding the way to build equipment for the future, many players currently have tried Blitzcrank in the Jungle position with the main way to build equipment that deals damage based on hand attacks. The unexpected result that everyone got was a powerful Steam Robot with quality attacks, not a Support that could only pull like before.
The changes for Blitzcrank have appeared on the PBE server and through the testing process, Riot Games can completely adjust the increase or decrease for this champion before reaching the official servers. Game4V will continuously update Riot’s information and changes to readers as soon as possible.
