According to the latest information shared, Yuji Nunokawa, producer of the Naruto and Bleach anime has officially passed away on December 25.

On December 26th Studio Pierrot posted an announcement Tweet on his official Twitter account. The tweet read: “We are deeply saddened to inform everyone of the passing of Yuji Nunokawa, former President and Senior Advisor of Studio Pierrot. Mr. Nunokawa passed away on May 25. 12 to 75. He will be remembered for his leadership, hard work and passion.”
At present, the cause of this sudden departure is not disclosed. Besides Studio Pierrot said that the family of the former president Nunokawa will hold a private funeral for him, but only in the presence of family members as well as his closest friends. Still Studio Pierrot will hold a private party in honor of this former president.
Thanks to his hard work and leadership vision Yuji, Studio Pierrot has become one of the mainstays in the anime industry. Not long after its founding, the studio worked on hit anime titles such as Magical Angel Creamy Mami, Magical Fairy Persia, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Osomatsu-kun, and Kimagure Orange Road. Besides, Studio Pierrot also made anime series such as Yū Yū Hakusho, Bleach, Naruto, Beelzebub and Black Clover.
Earlier this year, Studio Pierrot paid tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime series with a video called “ROAD OF NARUTO”. This video recreates the most iconic scenes from the anime series. And most recently, this studio created a compilation video of all the shinobi running scenes in the Naruto anime.
