After the defeat in the quarterfinals of Worlds 2022, Rogue admitted there is a big difference between them and the King of LPL Summer JD Gaming.
Rogue’s magical journey has officially ended after a 0-3 loss to a strong opponent, JDG in the last quarter-final. After that defeat, Odoamne and Larssen had a short interview to express their views on this destroyed game.
Both players admitted that the team played very well, but it couldn’t be compared to the level of the King of LPL Summer 2022 JD Gaming. “We thought we played really well, but we just couldn’t match them – JDG,” commented RGE Odoamne of the team’s performance in the quarter-finals.
Mid laner Larssen further explained that Rogue has a solid basis to beat JD Gaming if they had a higher level of skill: “I think we could have beaten them if we had better skills. , I feel in every game there is a possibility to fight, but it’s just that we still have many shortcomings.”
Odoamne went on to further conclude, explaining that individual mistakes were the main reason for Rogue’s defeat to JD Gaming: “Every game is lost because of very small individual mistakes.” Rogue’s Top lane showed a bad situation for their Dragon preparation in game 1, then the team didn’t protect the bottom half of the map well.
With this defeat, Rogue has officially said goodbye to Worlds 2022. At this year’s tournament, Rogue is the only representative of the West to reach the round of 8, they even beat TES. or DRX during the Group Stage. This is sure to be a happy ending for all members of the LEC Summer 2022 Champion. – shared by RGE Odoamne.
