Corporate badminton anime starring Jun Fukuyama, Taku Yashiro, Yūma Uchida
Kodoani.com – The official website of TV Asahi and LIDEN FILMS’s badminton sports anime is Ryman’s Club announced new visuals and the first full promotional video for the anime on Thursday. The video reveals the opening song of Novelbright’s “The Warrior” anime, and also reveals the additional voice cast and January 22 premiere date for the anime.

The anime will premiere in the NUMAnimation program on TV Asahi, CS TV Asahi Channel 1 and 24 affiliates on January 22, and on BS Asahi on January 28.
The anime focuses on badminton players on a corporate team, with characters doing daily jobs in a company and also playing badminton. The story revolves around Mikoto Shiratori, a childhood badminton prodigy, but who never recovered from a big loss in a high school competition. Now the guy works in the business department of the company Sunlight Beverage, plays badminton on the side.

Aimi Yamauchi (City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes unit director, Killing Bites episode director) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS, which previously animated the badminton anime Hanebad! . Yamauchi is also composing the series along with Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai). Suzuhito drew the original character designs, and Majiro adapted those character designs for animation. The fox capture plan group is composing music.
