There has been a lot of speculation surrounding filmmaker Sam Raimi directing part 6 of Avengers: Secret Wars for Marvel Studios. Now, Sam officially responded to this information. Let's see!
Sam Raimi – director of Spiderman and Doctor Strange 2 – has just spoken out to address recent rumors about him. There are very few updates for Avengers:Secret Wars at the moment as the MCU timeline is still building up to the end of Phase 5 before entering Phase 6.
Some rumors have been circulating saying that Sam Raimi is being targeted for the director's chair in Avengers: Secret Wars. At a recent interview, Sam said when asked if his future plans include directing Avengers 6 or any other Marvel projects?
“I don't have any plans. But I would love it!” Sam said.
After the end of The Multiverse Saga, the MCU will change with stories like Avengers: Secret Wars. However, major changes in phase 6 have not yet taken place because of the lack of a director at the present time. Both Avengers 5 and Secret Wars do not have a filmmaker yet, although the script is being written by Michael Waldron.
One of the reasons given for this delay is the void left by Jonathan Majors after the actor was forced to leave Marvel due to legal entanglements in a violent lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend. There is much discussion about whether or not to completely remove the character Kang previously played by Jonathan. Besides, the strike in 2023 also contributes to pushing back the production plan of two Avengers movies in Marvel Studios' film list.
The above issue needs to wait for an answer from Marvel's directors. Follow here for more new news!
